FAQs

Where is SCC located?

  • SCC events take place at different venues around Seattle.

How do SCC Members stay informed?

  • As a member, you will have access to a digital membership app called Cardskipper that lists special cocktail happenings around town and exclusive invites. We also have an optional private Discord Channel for you to connect with other members.

How do I become a member?

  • You have to apply to become a SCC Member - apply here.

How long does it take for my membership to be approved?

  • Our Membership Team processes new member applications on a weekly basis. (Usually on Tuesdays.)

How much does membership cost?

  • Currently, we are offering membership at an annual rate of $35 per year. Yeah, that’s right, for nearly the same cost of a couple of drinks you’ll get special access and info on all things cocktails happening around the city.

How long is my membership good for?

  • Membership is annual.

How do I renew my membership?

  • Each year, your SCC Membership will renew automatically. So all you have to do is sit back and enjoy a cocktail while we do the work for you. If you’d like to change the payment method for your membership, you can do so here. We will also send you an email to give you a heads up of when your membership is renewing so there are no surprise charges on your account.

How do I cancel my membership?

  • Simply let us know that you do not wish to renew when the renewal period comes along. If you’ve moved out of Seattle or no longer wish to be an SCC Member you can login to your account here and cancel your membership. We’re cocktail enthusiasts, not a cult, you’re free to go leave whenever you want although there are no partial refunds on membership.

Can my membership be revoked?

  • We hope this never happens but we will revoke memberships if a member is disrespectful to other members. We strive to maintain a club where all members feel safe and welcome - this starts with respecting each other.

What do my membership dues go to?

  • Membership funds will go towards the basic administrative costs of running the club (like membership cards, an email service provider, etc.)

Does my partner need to be a member?

  • To take advantage of member discounts and member-only events, your partner does have to be a member with their own individual membership number.

Can I bring friends?

  • You are welcome to bring friends to events that are open to the public and have general admission tickets, otherwise, your friends also need to be members. Only members can access member pricing (that’s one of the many perks of membership), non-members will need to purchase general admission tickets.

What are the benefits of being a member?

  • SCC hosts events that are members only, and if the event is open to the general public SCC members get a discount on tickets.

How do I find my membership number?

  • Your membership number is located on your Cardskipper digital membership card. To find it, open the Cardskipper app, click on Seattle Cocktail Club and your membership card will pop up on the top of your screen with the membership number located at the bottom left under your name.

  • When you sign up to be an SCC Member, there is a question on the form “Were you referred by an SCC Member, if so, who?” When your friend is signing up to become a member, make sure they add your name to that part of the form so that your name will be entered into the monthly drawing for a prize!

If you no longer have that email with the link, reach out to us at membership@seattlecocktailclub.com and we will send you a new link.
