Gin Week: Gin Bartending Competition

With the introduction of Boodles Rhubarb & Strawberry, Boodles will be sponsoring a unique bartending competition with a twist. In the spirit of Seattle, Boodles will have a “Poppin’ Tags” bartending competition.
Local bartenders will be able to submit their own cocktail creations using Boodles Rhubarb & Strawberry Gin as the main ingredient. From the submissions, 4 bartenders will be selected based on the cocktail submissions, telling the story of their own sense of style, and creativity.
Once selected the 4 bartenders will be introduced at Thomas Street Warehouse and then be given 30 minutes to shop at a local thrift store to create their own style for the cocktail for the perfect “Gramable” moment. Elements from the thrift store could include, but not limited to: glassware, clothing, serving utensils, cocktail mascots, etc.
After the shopping is finished, the bartenders will hustle back to the venue to start making their cocktail. The cocktails will be judged by a panel of 3 in-person judges and by the majority of the audience in attendance.
The competition will be held on Wednesday April 7th at 4pm. The 4 best entrants will be invited to compete at Thomas Street Warehouse in South Lake Union. Spectators are welcome, space is limited on a first come first serve basis, and there will be drink specials featuring Boodles to enjoy!
