Seattle Cocktail Club: Swings & Sips... Again!
September 17th
We’re trading country club energy for a laid-back evening at Green Lake Pitch & Putt designed around fresh air, good conversation, and meeting new people. While this isn’t our traditional craft cocktail-style event, we’ll still have cold beverages available to enjoy while we make our way around the course.
No experience required, no gear needed, and absolutely no golf attitude necessary. Whether you’re here to learn the game, take a few swings, or just enjoy a walk around the course with a drink in hand, you’ll fit right in.
We’ll play a relaxed 9-hole round in small groups, rotating through the course at an easy pace while getting to know new faces along the way. Scoring is optional, and sneakers are more than welcome.
Just check in at the Pro Shop when you arrive and let them know you’re with Seattle Cocktail Club. From there, we’ll get everyone paired up and out onto the course for one of the most fun social outings of the summer.

September 23rd
Seattle Cocktail Club is sitting down with one of Washington’s most fascinating distilling projects: Talking Cedar.
Located on the Chehalis Reservation, Talking Cedar is the first legally operated tribal-owned brewery and distillery in the country, a project born from an unlikely partnership between the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation and Heritage Distilling Co.
Getting there wasn’t easy. The project uncovered an 184-year-old federal law that prohibited distilleries on tribal land, leading to a nine-month effort to change federal law and clear the way for Talking Cedar to open its doors.
Today the 35,000-square-foot facility produces whiskey, vodka, and specialty spirits, including offerings created exclusively for Talking Cedar.
Join us for an evening of tasting, conversation, and a closer look at the spirits coming out of this remarkable project, and the history, innovation, and determination behind them.

We’ll taste through a selection of whiskeys without knowing what’s in the glass, looking for notes across distinct profiles.

Meet Josh Fox of Lodgepole Distilling
Josh Fox is the Co-Owner, Founder, and Distiller of Lodgepole Distilling, a local distillery built around a shared love of science, the outdoors, good food, and great cocktails.
Founded with a longtime friend and fellow science enthusiast, Lodgepole Distilling is rooted in the idea that spirits can be about more than what’s in the glass—they can be a way to build community and connect people to the place they call home. That philosophy is reflected in Lodgepole’s work with local organizations and environmental partners, including an ongoing relationship with the Seattle Botanic Gardens. Through that partnership, Lodgepole sources Cypress and Juniper from the Gardens for its Arboretum Gin, with proceeds supporting the Seattle Botanic Gardens.
During this event, Josh will take you behind the scenes of gin making, share the story of Lodgepole and how the distillery continues to evolve, and explore why buying local matters even in a world filled with affordable, mass-produced spirits.
The conversation will also include an open Q&A focused on making cocktails at home, whether you’re just getting started or already have a well-stocked bar. Come with questions, leave with a better understanding of gin, and hopefully a few new ideas for your next cocktail.

We’ll be kicking things off at Nutcracker Tavern on December 14, where SCC members can settle in for drinks and good company before venturing out to enjoy the rest of Snow Globe.
Once you’ve had your fill at the tavern, the evening is yours to explore. Lace up and hit the ice rink, all Seattle Cocktail Club members will receive one complimentary skating pass, browse the Shoppes for some last minute holiday shopping, or simply keep the cocktails flowing and enjoy the festivities downtown.

Join Seattle Cocktail Club for an evening on the water with Electric Boat Company as we take over Lake Union for a floating cocktail social built exclusively for SCC members.
Guests will rotate between three private electric boats throughout the evening, with each boat featuring its own unique cocktail experience. We’ll cruise, socialize, and take in the summer views before docking periodically to swap groups, giving everyone the chance to meet new people, experience every boat, and try all three featured cocktails throughout the night.
Think cocktail crawl meets sunset boat party: intimate, social, relaxed, and very Seattle. 6-8pm.
Due to the limited capacity of the boats, this event is exclusive to Seattle Cocktail Club members and limited to one ticket per member. Any guests interested in attending will need to become a member prior to purchasing a ticket.

We’re taking Seattle Cocktail Club to one of Fremont’s most thoughtfully crafted cocktail spaces, Mini Bar, for an intimate happy hour built around great drinks and even better conversation.
Mini Bar is known for its focused, ingredient-driven cocktail program and cozy, design-forward space that feels more like a hidden neighborhood gem than a typical bar. It’s the kind of place where the drinks are precise, seasonal, and beautifully made, and where the setting naturally slows things down in the best way.
For this SCC Happy Hour, expect a relaxed, social atmosphere designed for meeting new people, easing into the evening, and experiencing one of Seattle’s most respected cocktail programs without the formality. This is not a loud bar night, it’s a curated hang with intention behind it.
